Electrolysis cell with 8 electrode plates ensures high power. It is possible to produce a good amount of electrolyzed water of which the value of ORP is included in the range of +1130mV and -800mV and which boasts of good effects, by loading an electrolytic cell with eight electrode plates that use electrodes made of platinum plated titanium.
Kangen Water® contains numerous electrolytically generated hydroxide ions (OH⁻) and cations (such as calcium ions), and contains hydrogen.

(Kangen Water®, Acidic Water, Strong Acidic Water※ and Clean Water) and other necessary information. Selection of water type can be made with only one touch. It is very easy to operate. Introduction of a touch panel has greatly enhanced ease of operation.
You will be able to use your water-cleaning filter until the total amount of water the filter has treated reaches around 1,600 gallons. That is to say, you can use it for six months supposing you use around 8 gallons of water per day.
(This period differs depending on the quality and amount of water). It will be announced by the LCD, voice prompts, and alarm when it is time to exchange the filter. The three-layered, high-powered water-cleaning filter removes matters such as lead, remaining chlorine (bleaching powder), effluvium, rust, and impurity, and still keeps minerals.
- KANGEN WATER® [Drinkable]: Suitable for daily drinking water, cooking, and brewing tea and coffee; please refer to the pH value displayed on the device to find the most comfortable taste for your family. This is also the common usage of kangen water.
- Purified water (neutral) [Drinkable]: Use it when you want the original flavor (such as clear soup, cold brew, ice making); the taste is more neutral, making it easy to compare with the KANGEN brand.
- Acidic water [non-drinking]: Used for external rinsing (such as tableware, glass, stainless steel surfaces), belonging to daily electrolyzed water cleaning scenarios.
- Strong acid water (pH 2.5) [Non-drinking]: Use when more efficient external cleaning is needed (e.g., cutting boards, kitchen countertops, door handles and other high-contact surfaces). After use, rinse with water as needed.
After pressing the pH 2.5 button, strong acid water (for external use) will flow from the auxiliary hose, while strong reducing water® (for external use) will flow from the main hose. Practical example of division of labor: Use the strong acid water to treat the cutting board and kitchen countertop, while immersing the oil pan or filter screen in the **strong reducing water®** for degreasing pretreatment.
This method of external cleaning is more efficient and complete in one step (all are for electrolyzed water cleaning purposes). To return to the drinking setting, simply switch back to KANGEN or purified water using the single touch indicator on the LCD; the taste adjustment for the drinking setting is still based on the pH value display.
